Product Info
A dilute aqueous solution of acid fuchsin and picric acid. Van Gieson’s stain is used as the counterstain in Verhoeff’s elastin stain. The other reagents required for Verhoeff’s stain are:
Alcoholic hematoxylin, 5% w/v (catalog # 6210A)
Ferric chloride, 10% w/v (catalog # 5660A)
Ferric chloride, 2% w/v (catalog # 5652A)
Lugol’s Iodine (catalog # 652A)
