Reagent alcohol is ethyl alcohol that has been denatured with methanol and isopropanol using the formula authorized by the ATF (90% v/v ethyl alcohol, 5% v/v methyl alcohol and 5% v/v isopropyl alcohol). It is intended to be used in the laboratory as a substitute for pure ethyl alcohol. It is not suitable for drug use. It can be sold in gallon or smaller bottles and does not require registration or taxation by the ATF. Our product is manufactured in the United States by Medical Chemical Corp.
