This product is a 0.5% w/v solution of potassium permanganate and is used for auramine/rhodamine fluorescent staining of acid fast bacteria. The staining procedure also requires Auramine/Rhodamine stain (catalog # 789D) and fluorescent decolorizer (catalog # AAD). Manufactured in the United States by Medical Chemical Corp.
