A 5% w/v aqueous solution of potassium ferrocyanide used for colloidal iron staining. Other reagents required for colloidal iron staining are glacial acetic acid, 12% v/v acetic acid (catalog # 3081A-12), 5% v/v hydrochloric acid (catalog # 3285A), colloidal iron stock solution (catalog # 5661A) and Van Gieson stain (catalog # 8880A) or nuclear fast red (catalog # 680A). Manufactured in the United States by Medical Chemical Corp.
