Phenolic acridine orange (Catalog # 3120A) is a solution of glycerine, phenol and acridine orange in 25% v/v reagent alcohol. It is used with acridine orange decolorizer (catalog # 3121A) for fluorescent staining of acid fast bacteria. It is manufactured by Medical Chemical Corp. in the United States.
