Product Info
This product is the Ziehl-Neelsen formulation of carbol fuchsin stain. It consists of basic fuchsin, phenol and reagent alcohol in an aqueous solution. Carbol fuchsin is used with 3% acid alcohol (catalog # 311A) and methylene blue counterstain (catalog # 675A) to stain acid fast bacteria. Manufactured in the United States by Medical Chemical Corp.
