Product Info
This product is the Kinyoun formulation of carbol fuchsin stain. It consists of basic fuchsin, DMSO, phenol and reagent alcohol in an aqueous solution. Carbol fuchsin is used with 3% acid alcohol (catalog # 311A) and methylene blue counterstain (catalog # 675A) to stain acid fast bacteria. Manufactured in the United States by Medical Chemical Corp.
